Video+Photos: Indian Presenter Slapped Live on TV for Wearing Revealing Dress

 TV presenter and Model Gauahar Khan was left distressed after an audience member got up on stage and slapped her for wearing clothes that he considered to be too revealing.

The attacker, Akil Malik, 24, was offended by the Indian TV presenter’s backless outfit which she wore while presenting Raw Star at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai.

Mumbai Police revealed that Malik thought Gauahar Khan should not have worn such a short dress as she is a Muslim woman.

Malik has been arrested and charged with molestation after the incident which left Gauahar Khan clearly shaken as the footage shows.
