Davido has lost many nominations in
recent times and the trend doesnt look like its stopping sooner for the
Aye crooner after he lost 5 out of 5 awards at the just concluded Channel O Music Video awards for 2014. I mean, 5 out of 5? common!
Watching the Live show on Channel O yesterday night, I was so certain myself that Davido would definitely go home with the Most Gifted Video Award (Aye) of the year but once again he failed to clinch the award.
Im glad not to be the only one who thought Davido deserves at least 3 out of the 5 awards as Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy also confirmed this by tweeting:
“My most gifted video award is Aye by Davido sha. #MyOpinion. He definitely owned 2014. #Okbye” He tweeted.
Davido who has lost out in 4
international awards back to back this year went ahead to congratulates
the winners saying “you win some, you lose some thats life” but does it
not seem like Davido is losing to many than some?
Whats really going on? Can it be that
Davido doesnt truly deserve those awards? can it be some political foul
plays? or just an unfortunate time for Davido?
That leads me to asking the question;
Why Did Davido Fail To Clinch An Award At Channel O Awards?
